Biscoff Banana Cake Slice

Basic nutritional profile: 162 cals, 11g protein, 5g fats, 18g carbs

This slice is the perfect combination of DELICIOUS and HEALTHY! With over 11g protein per serve you will be making this recipe on repeat! Scroll down for the full recipe and video instructions.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 tablespoons, Peanut Butter*
  • 2 tbsp, Maple Syrup
  • 3 Bananas, (mashed)
  • 1 tsp, Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp, Cinnamon
  • 100 grams, Plant based Vanilla Yoghurt
  • 1 tbsp, Biscoff spread (smooth)
  • 50 mL, Soy Milk (optional)
  • 115 g, Vanilla Plant Protein

*You could sub this for any nut butter your prefer, or even swap half for Biscoff spread to get more of the biscoff flavour in the mix!

METHOD

  1. Combine mashed banana, maple syrup, vanilla extract and nut butter in a bowl and stir well.
  2. Add in ~100g protein powder baking powder and cinnamon. Add soy milk only if needed to reach desired consistency.
  3. Transfer into a lined baking tray and bake for 20 minutes at 180C/350f
  4. Make icing by mixing the yoghurt, 1 tbsp protein powder and 1 tbsp biscoff spread in a small bowl. Once the cake has cooled, ice the cake and cut into 9 squares.
  5. Eat fresh or store in the fridge for up to 3 days.
